For industrial and military applications

At Hidden we believe training is a developmental process that changes our thinking and behaviours, enabling us to enhance or acquire new skills, knowledge and attitudes whilst providing a catalyst for creativity, critical thinking and independent reasoning.

We harness the latest immersive technologies to provide training for students in a safe, controlled environment where they can absorb instruction rapidly and retain it for longer.

Our systems are intelligent and use a dashboard to present visualisations produced from real-time student analytic collected by our systems. This gives the instructor and the entire training team valuable information so they can continuously improve the training content and student.

“Retention level a year after a single VR training session can be as much as 80%, compared to the 20% retention after a week of traditional training”

Procedural Simulation

These simulations are used for training students in a safe controlled environment on task based procedures. They include but are not limited to; testing, selection and correct use of tools, assembly, disassembly, fault finding and material management.

Example uses:

  • Maintenance of dangerous or hard-to-reach equipment or systems
  • Maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and upgrade of complex systems
  • Procedural instruction including safe working practices

Operator Simulation

This type of simulation is ideal for operational roles that require students to control machinery or an industrial system. It can also be combined with emergency and situational scenarios.

Example uses:

  • Simulated operation of dangerous and/or complex systems and equipment
  • Health Safety and Environment (HSE) training

Facility Training

This type of simulation is used where familiarisation of work environments and systems / equipment is required.

Example uses:

  • Employee orientation
  • Remote tours of facilities
  • Escape planning and emergency procedures
  • System and equipment overview

Safety Training

These simulations are designed to teach occupational safety and health standards. They can cover several scenarios ranging from the proper use and disposal of materials to emergency response procedures.

Example uses:

  • Hazardous material handling
  • Gas detection
  • Emergency response

Human Performance Training

These simulations provide ways to test those activities identified as essential to support physical, social, and psychological requirements of a task, process or procedure. We use virtual methods such as problem solving to assess a student’s or candidate’s abilities.

Example uses:

  • Functional testing
  • Physical Assessment
  • Psychological assessment
